500bhp in the regular Porsche Panamera Turbo not enough for you? Then the 550bhp Turbo S might be more up your street. Testers note near-unbelievable performance from a two-tonne, 5-metre long car, with launch control making 3.8 second 0-60mph runs available to anyone. Critics also say it’s as smooth and economical as the normal turbo.
The PDK dual-clutch gearbox comes under a little criticism, just as it does in the normal Turbo. It sometimes lacks a little smoothness. Sub-25mpg economy and £460 per year road tax also make it expensive to run, but if you can afford the £120,000-plus purchase price, you’re unlikely to care too much.
The critics all agree that if you have the money then the Turbo S is the ultimate Panamera.

Read full review...the Panamera’s true talent is covering big distances fast, and that’s where the Turbo S comes unstuck. For half the price, you can have the diesel, which makes more sense.
