carwow is set to go from strength to strength in 2016 and, as we become even more of a household name, we want to help nurture the UK’s best new motoring writers through our car journalism work experience programme.
What will you get out of carwow work experience?
Working with our in-house content team, you’ll get the chance to play a big part in the Next Big Thing in consumer motoring journalism. You’ll get the chance to hone your writing skills across breaking news stories, car buying guides and reviews.
In addition, you’ll get to grips with basic content management, HTML editing, Photoshop and webpage layout.
You might also get the chance to help the team on photo and video shoots with the latest cars on sale in the UK.
You won’t even be asked to make tea and coffee for the team, because our coffee machine is far too complicated for its own good.
Our car journalism work experience placements usually last two weeks but, if we’re exceptionally busy and you’re exceptionally keen, we may ask you to stay on.
How to apply
To apply for our car journalism work experience, head over to the carwow jobs page. Make sure you list all relevant writing and automotive experience (if you have any) in your application. Don’t forget to complete the short news-writing task on the application form then we’ll get back to you if you’re successful.
