Videos: F1 Cars don’t have to stick to the track

Red Bull have been testing the limit of their F1 cars recently, but not on the track. Theyve been taking them up the Himalayas, on the beach and even through the surf!

The first video shows Red Bull driver Neel Jani setting the record for the highest altitude ever reached by an F1 car. The road was on the Khardung Pass in India, and is the worlds highest driveable road, at an astonishing 18,380ft. It’s arguably the most challenging terrain on the planet.

The second video shows their F1 car racing across a Caribbean beach, Jaime Alguersuari wasn't holding back either, it reportedly hit 180km/h.
