The BMW 240i has the same kit as M Sport models – including a 6.5-inch sat-nav display, ambient lighting and air-conditioning – but has sportier looks thanks to its unique body kit and nicer interior trimmed in Dakota leather. It doesn’t just look sportier than M Sport models, it also drives nicer thanks to uprated brakes, M240i specific sports suspension and steering that is also unique to the model. The excellent £1,600 automatic gearbox is an option that is well worth going for.
