Kicking off the Lexus ES range is the Premium trim, which as standard comes with goodies like heated power-adjustable front seats, wireless smartphone connectivity, automatic LED headlights and keyless entry. On the safety equipment front, this version of the Lexus ES gets blind spot monitoring, autonomous emergency braking and a lane-keep assist.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Premium Plus models are pretty similar to the Lexus ES Premium spec-wise, though there are a few differences here and there. Highlights include a heated steering wheel and ventilation for the front seats, whereas the safety kit is fleshed out by features such as a 360-degrees parking camera.

The Lexus ES Takumi is the most luxurious model you can get. It comes with leather seats with 10-way electric adjustment and heating and cooling features, along with polished wood inlays on the dashboard and doors, an upgraded 17-speaker Mark Levinson stereo, a larger 12.3-inch central infotainment display with built-in sat-nav and smartphone mirroring and a head-up display. You also get a 7.0-inch digital driver’s display, heated and reclining rear seats, three-zone climate control, a hands-free opening bootlid and a 360-degree surround-view camera system. Also standard are front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist and automatic emergency braking.
