In effect the entry-level version of the AMG-tuned S-Class model, AMG Touring cars come with many of the features you'll find on the standard S-Class. Highlights include ventilated front and rear seats, adaptive air suspension and four-zone climate control. They're also the most aggressively-styled S-Class models, courtesy of their huge 21-inch alloys and sporty bodykit.

Opt for a Night Edition version of the AMG S-Class, and you'll have a car with broadly the same features. The big changes are mainly cosmetic - red brake calipers, new alloy wheels and the black exterior trim make the AMG S-Class even more menacing to look at, and inside the wood on the regular car's centre console is now a mix of carbon fibre and piano black trim.

If the shiny chrome on the Maybach S-Class is a bit too flashy for you, then you’re in luck as Mercedes has catered for your tastes with this Night Series version. Much of the regular car’s glittery exterior trim has been replaced with glossy black alternatives. That understated look continues inside, too, thanks to features like the black leather upholstery and walnut wood interior trim.

As the name suggests, this trim takes the Maybach S-Class Night Series and adds some features that wouldn’t feel out of place in business class on an airliner. Rear seat passengers will be treated to reclining seats, plush leather upholstery and temperature-controlled cup holders for your drink of choice (we imagine some bubbly, since a pair of champagne flutes and a mini fridge between the rear seats also come as standard on this spec).
