Alfa Romeo has released new trim levels for the MiTo supermini and the Giulietta hatchback. The new ‘Collezione’ and ‘Sprint Speciale’ trims aim to push the range into more luxurious and sportier territory.
If a very well-appointed hatchback is what you’re after, make sure you use our Alfa Romeo MiTo configurator for a great deal. If it’s a larger car that takes your fancy, then our Alfa Romeo Giulietta configurator will make sure you get one for a great price.
Alfa Romeo ‘Collezione’ trim
The new Alfa Romeo Collezione trim represents the top-of-the-range model for both the MiTo and Giulietta. Both cars share new contrasting door-mirror paintwork and well-equipped interiors that include DAB radio, a new infotainment system and satellite navigation that, in the Giulietta, is voice activated.
The MiTo gets a combination of ‘Collezione’ cloth interior seats with ‘eco leather‘ trim pieces and contrasting brown stitching on the new flat-bottomed steering wheel, handbrake and gear-level gaiter. Exterior changes include 17-inch bronze alloy wheels and satin-effect head- and taillight surrounds.
The price for an Alfa Romeo MiTo Collezione with a 0.9-litre Twinair engine and six-speed manual gearbox is £17,660 – the larger 1.4-litre turbo petrol will set you back £19,210. The bigger price-tag does, however, include Brembo brakes and Alfa’s twin-clutch (TCT) automatic gearbox as standard.
The Giulietta in ‘Collezione’ trim includes the same additional features as the MiTo with heated leather front seats and a 6.5-inch ‘U connect’ infotainment system with TomTom satnav fitted as standard. The exterior gets a gloss black roof and door mirrors to compliment the dark-finish 18-inch alloy wheels. Front and rear parking sensors are fitted at no extra cost.
The Giulietta is available with both a 1.4-litre Multiair petrol and 2.0-litre JTDM diesel engine priced at £24,820 and £25,680 respectively. There is the option of a twin-clutch gearbox which bumps up the price to £26,245 for the petrol and £27,840 for the diesel.
Alfa Romeo ‘Sprint Speciale’ trim
The ‘Sprint Speciale’ trim is only available on the Giulietta and builds on the existing Sprint trim level. Sports suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels and Brembo brakes complete the list of standard features. The interior now sports aluminium pedals, ‘Quadrifoglio’ embossed front seats, climate control, silver dashboard trim and cruise control. Rear parking sensors are also fitted as standard.
The ‘Sprint Speciale’ is available with the option of a 1.4-litre petrol priced at £23,320 or 2.0-litre diesel for £24,180. The double-clutch gearbox option will affect the cost of both models, with the petrol costing £24,745 and the diesel £26,340. Select the more powerful diesel and you get an extra 25hp, too.
