Audi A5 Facelift – What’s Different?

Audi have refreshed the A5 Coupe, A5 Sportback and A5 Cabriolet for 2012. Well show you exactly what has changed, including side-by-side shots of the new facelifted A5 against the old.

Sales of the new A5 range will start in September, with the first customer cars arriving by the end of the year.

On the outside

At the front the A5 gets new headlights, a mildly different front bumper and flatter fog lights. Its also very slightly wider, giving a more sporty appearance.

Round the back the changes include redesigned rear lights, a different bumper and optional LED lights. There are a range of new colours to choose from, theres now 16 different paint options, with 4 colour choices for the A5 Cabriolets hood.

17 wheels now come as standard, with up to 20 wheels being an optional extra.

On the inside

The interior changes are fairly subtle. They consist of a new steering wheel, different steering wheel column stalks and new ignition key. Theres also a redesigned gear lever for the automatic gearbox, changed air-con controls and all displays are now illuminated in white.
