The new Style Edition trim level is based on the existing Tekna trim and, as a result, comes with excellent standard equipment. The infotainment system is controlled using a seven-inch touchscreen while the driver and front-seat passenger can enjoy the benefits of electrically adjustable heated seats. Leather upholstery is offered as standard and is complimented by leather trim around the gear lever and on the steering wheel.

The exterior now boasts chrome door sills, mirror caps and boot lid detailing while 19-inch alloy wheels with a gloss black finish complete the X-Trail’s new look. In addition to shiny details on the outside, alloy pedals in the cabin help give the interior a sportier feel than existing models.

The list of standard safety features includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition and parking assist. Nissan’s 360-degree camera system allows the driver to get a bird’s eye view of the car also features.

The X-Trail Style Edition is available now, costing from £29,405. Buyers can choose from either 1.6-litre petrol or diesel engines, two or four-wheel drive and manual or automatic gearboxes.
