Renault Captur Iconic special edition released

Renault has announced the release of a special Edition version of the Captur. The Iconic is due to go on 1 December 2015, and will sit above the Dynamique S Nav trim level.

One of a trio of Iconic special editions (the others based on the Twingo and Clio) the new model gains some unique colour and trim options to differentiate it from the rest of the Captur lineup.

The Iconic’s paint options play a big part in helping it stand out from lesser models. Six exterior colours can be combined with three contrasting roof options – black, white or cappuccino, while tinted rear windows and 17-inch alloys featuring cappuccino inserts complete the look.

The brown theme continues inside. A part-leather interior is finished in cappuccino upholstery, while the lower half of the dashboard is also brown. Bronze-coloured highlights surrounding the door speakers and air vents complete the look. The extensive standard equipment list includes heated front seats, heated and electrically adjusting door mirrors, a reversing camera and rear parking sensors.

The Captur’s full engine range is available for the Iconic. That means there’s two petrol and two diesel units to choose from, the most frugal of which is the 78.5mpg-rated 89 horsepower 1.5-litre diesel.

Prices for the Captur Iconic start from £18,395 (the same as the Signature Nav trim level) with deliveries starting in December.
