Renault has released the Clio Iconic, a new special edition version of the French firm’s popular supermini. Sitting alongside Iconic editions of both the Twingo and Captur released at the same time, the Clio version marks the 25th anniversary of the stylish hatchback’s UK sales debut.
The Iconic takes the top spec Clio Dynamique S as a starting point, and adds extra equipment and subtle exterior upgrades. These include 17-inch alloy wheels with black inserts, chrome window trim, and a ‘cross-hatch’ motif applied to the door mirrors. The same style of decal can also be applied to the roof as an option. Four exterior colours are offered: two different greys, white and black.
Inside, the Iconic features part-leather upholstery, including extra hide on the handbrake and central armrest. The front seats are heated, and the same climate control, all-round electric windows and heated door mirrors offered as standard in the Dynamique S are included. The Iconic also gains tinted rear windows and the cross-hatch effect on the air vent surrounds and door armrests.

Prices for the Clio Iconic start from £16,775 – £1,100 more than the Dynamique S. Order books are open from 1 December, with deliveries arriving later in the month.
