New Skoda Karoq design
Updates to the design of the new Skoda Karoq are pretty noticeable. Up at the front, it gets slimmer headlights than the outgoing car as well as a reprofiled grille.
You’ve got a selection of new alloy wheels designs ranging from 17- to 19-inches in size, while a longer rear spoiler has been added along with fresh LED brake lights.
New Skoda Karoq interior and infotainment
Good news if you’re a vegan Skoda Karoq fan — there’s a new seat option for you. Dubbed the eco pack, it brings seat covers made from vegan-friendly recycled materials.
All variants of the Karoq now also get an eight-inch digital driver’s display as standard, with the option of upgrading that to 10.25-inches.
You’ll also get an eight-inch central touchscreen infotainment system which can be swapped out for an upgraded 9.2-inch system.
Other tweaks to the Karoq’s interior include upgraded ambient lighting and new decorative strips.
New Skoda Karoq engines
You’ve got a pick of five engines for the new Skoda Karoq. Three of those are petrol — with 1.0-, 1.5- and 2.0-litre options all available.
There are two 2.0-litre diesel engines with 116hp and 150hp respectively.
All versions of the Karoq get a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, though you do have the option of a seven-speed automatic.
New Skoda Karoq price and release date
No word yet on pricing for the new Skoda Karoq, but it’s expected to go on sale early in 2022.
It’ll likely carry a slight bump over the existing car’s entry price of £23,675.
