Terms & Conditions – Carwow Dealer Drag Race Event

1. Definitions

a.) Event: Carwow Dealer Drag Race Event at Willmott Dixon, Kendrew Barracks, Oakham, LE15 7NA on 14th October 2025

b.) Carwow: the organiser of the Event, being Carwow Limited of 2nd Floor, Verde Building, 10 Bressenden Place, London, SW1E 5DH

c.) Promotion Period: from 00:00 on 1st September 2025 to 23:59 on 30th September 2025

d.) Participant(s): any individual(s) attending or taking part in the Event on behalf of a dealership.

e.) Entry: as defined below.

2. Event details

Carwow is giving up to twenty lucky dealers the chance to join Mat Watson for the ultimate drag race experience. Dealers who purchase and successfully collect at least one vehicle through Carwow between 00:01 1st September and 23:59 30th September 2025 will be entered into a prize draw. Each eligible purchase counts as one entry. At the end of the promotion, 10 winning dealerships will be selected at random. Each winning dealership will receive one double pass (two tickets) to attend the exclusive race day experience, permitting attendance for up to two colleagues from the same dealership. A maximum of two tickets will be awarded per winning dealership, regardless of the number of entries. Carwow reserves the right to change, cancel or amend the Event at any time. In the event the Event is cancelled or amended, this shall not affect or entitle Participants to any refund, credit or compensation in respect of vehicles purchased through Carwow’s services for the purpose of obtaining Entries.

3. Promotion period, Entry and Selection

a.) Entries (as defined below) will be open during the Promotion Period. Any Entries received after this time and date will not be counted.

b.) For the purposes of this Event, an “Entry” shall be given each time a dealership has purchased, collected and paid for a vehicle using Carwow’s Sell My Car service. Each vehicle purchased, collected and paid for shall constitute 1 Entry. For example, a dealership that purchases 15 cars during the Promotion Period shall be entitled to 15 entries.

c.) Eligible Entries will be reviewed by Carwow after the Promotion Period ends. Attendees will be selected at Carwow’s sole discretion, either by random draw or other method chosen by Carwow. The selection process and Carwow’s decision shall be final and binding.

d.) Successful Participants (maximum of 2 people per dealership) will be invited to attend the Event and will be contacted via email within five working days of the end of the Promotion Period.

4. Eligibility

a.) To be an eligible Participant, your dealership must be registered on Carwow’s Sell My Car Service and have a cancellation rate of less than 25% and no outstanding debt.

b.) Carwow reserves the right to verify eligibility criteria and to disqualify any dealership or individual found to have provided false, incomplete, or misleading information in connection with their Entry.

c.) To attend the Event as a Participant on behalf of your dealership (after being successfully chosen by Carwow), you must:

i. be at least 21 years old on the date of the Event;
ii. Hold a valid UK car driving licence that you have held for at least 2 years at the time of the Event;
iii. Have your permanent residence in the UK;
iv. Be medically and physically fit for driving cars at fast speeds;
v. Sign and agree to Carwow’s waiver and consent forms; and
vi. Be free from the influence of alcohol, drugs or any other substances or medical conditions that could impair your ability to drive.

d.) You must disclose any medical conditions or health and safety issues to Carwow ahead of the Event. Carwow reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse participation to any person it reasonably considers to be unfit to safely take part in the Event.

e.) Entries and invitations to attend the Event are strictly personal to each dealership and Participants selected, and may not be transferred, assigned, sold or exchanged for cash or other benefits.

5. Event Participation Rules

a.) You must follow all instructions provided by Carwow including any agents and sub-contractors engaged for the event and the site supervisors throughout the Event. These instructions are mandatory.

b.) You must attend all safety briefings and training sessions on the day of the Event. Further instructions and information on this will be provided to you.

c.) You must wear the required safety equipment provided by Carwow during the driving portion of the Event.

d.) A written health and safety plan will apply to the Event. All Participants must comply with all instructions from Carwow staff, any of Carwow’s agents and sub-contractors, marshals, race directors and site officials.

e.) Carwow and its partners or instructors may carry out reasonable checks (including but not limited to breathalyser or fitness-to-drive checks). Participants agree to cooperate with such checks as a condition of their participation in the Event.

f.) Non-compliance with any safety or conduct rules may lead to exclusion from the Event.

6. Filming and Photography Consent

a.) Carwow will be taking photos and videos of the Event, and by attending you consent to being filmed and photographed during the Event. You will be asked to sign a consent form.

b.) You shall grant Carwow an unrestricted, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and publish this material in all media, including but not limited to the Carwow YouTube channel and social media platforms.

c.) Participants waive any rights to approve the final content or claim compensation for such use.

7. Risk Assumption and Liability Waiver

a.) You acknowledge that motorsport activities carry inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury or death. You voluntarily accept these risks and participate at your own responsibility.

b.) You must agree and sign Carwow’s waiver of liability and consent form in order to attend the Event. These documents must be signed and returned before your participation is confirmed. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.

c.) Carwow reserves the right to cancel or terminate the Event at any time for safety or operational reasons.

8. Insurance

a.) Carwow does not provide any separate insurance for Participants during any of the races. In particular:

i. You agree to hold Carwow harmless from all liability for personal injury, illness or death arising from your Participant in the Event (except where caused by Carwow’s negligence);
ii. No insurance is provided by Carwow in respect of damage to or loss of property belonging to Participants; and
iii. No insurance is provided by Carwow in respect of any damage to vehicles caused by Participants.

b.) Participants are solely responsible for arranging their own personal accident, medical and property insurance if they wish to have cover for risks arising from participation in the Event.

9. Data Protection

a.) Personal data collected during the application and Event process will be used exclusively for participant selection and the running of the Event.

b.) Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Carwow’s Privacy Policy.

c.) Carwow may share your personal data with third parties engaged to assist in the safe running of the Event (including track operators, insurers and medical staff).

10. Disqualification and Conduct

a.) Carwow reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms, fails to comply with safety instructions or behaves in a dangerous or unsportsmanlike manner.

b.) Carwow reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse participation to any person it reasonably considers to be unfit to safely take part in the Event.

c.) Carwow reserves the right to disqualify any suspended dealers or dealers who become suspended during the competition campaign period.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes rising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be governed by the courts of England and Wales.
