Colour guide
Metallic - Graphite grey
Free
Graphite grey has a problem and it’s called the British weather. On a bright, warm, sunny day this is a grey that looks quite inviting. Under darker, rainier skies it just looks kinda boring.
Metallic - High tech silver
Free
Silver. Mercedes. They just work together, and while High tech silver is a slightly chilly shade of silver, it’s still a smart-looking option for the EQS. Looks at its best if you get the optional dark-finished AMG alloy wheels.

Metallic - Obsidian black
Free
It’s great that Mercedes offers a broad choice of standard and no-cost paint options for the EQS — although you might say that given how expensive a car it is, it’s the least you might expect. Basic Obsidian black is just that though; basic. You can do better, and without any extra cost…
Metallic - Onyx black
Free
This is much better. Onyx black, unlike the rather plain Obsidian black, has warmer undertones and you can see faint hints of gold and purple in it when the sun catches it right. It’s a much classier option for the EQS, and possibly the best colour option of all.
Metallic - Sodalite blue
Free
Blue is a tricky colour for a big car such as this, but the EQS pulls off Sodalite blue fairly well, thanks to the fact that there’s a little touch of mauve in it which lifts the colour on a duller day, while on a sunny one it sparkles quite nicely. A good alternative to default black or grey.
