What our customer say
Why lease your BYD through carwow?
Simple and convenient
Simply decide on your contract length, the initial payment and monthly rental, then get your BYD delivered for free. At the end of your lease, just hand the keys back.
More car for your money
Because the costs are often typically lower than other finance methods, you could afford to drive away in a higher spec BYD.
Warranty & tax included
BYD leasing deals include road tax for the contract length, and a full manufacturer's warranty — all you need to do is arrange insurance.
About BYD
BYD is one of the biggest Chinese car brands around. Indeed, it’s even moved ahead of Tesla at times to become the biggest seller of electric cars around the world. It’s not just an electric car maker, though — BYD also makes hybrids and plug-in hybrids, and lots more of those models will be arriving in the UK in the coming months and years.
BYD’s first models in the UK were the Atto 3, a compact electric SUV; the Dolphin, an electric five-door hatchback; and the Seal, a sleek electric saloon and an alternative to the Tesla Model 3. Those have since been joined by the Sealion 7 electric SUV (a Tesla Model Y alternative), and the Seal-U DMI plug-in hybrid SUV, along with the Dolphin Surf compact electric city car and the Atto 2 small electric SUV.
BYD prides itself on making not only its cars but also its own batteries — most car makers prefer to buy batteries from an outside supplier. This means that BYD can design its batteries to perfectly suit its models, and its ‘Blade’ batteries are notably more rugged and reliable in the long term than those of some other brands.
Why lease a BYD?
BYD makes cars that are good quality and good value, and leasing a BYD makes perfect sense as electric car technology is moving on fast, and you could otherwise find yourself stuck with a car that uses a suddenly-outdated battery or other technology. With leasing, it’s easier to swap cars when you want to.
Unlike when you buy on Hire Purchase or PCP, there’s usually no option to keep your car at the end of the lease — it will have to be returned, but leasing companies make that easy to do, and will usually collect the car from you when the time comes.
Leasing programmes can also offer other benefits such as fully-inclusive packages that cover your servicing, insurance, VED tax, and even fresh sets of tyres.
You can lease your BYD through Carwow too, and we’ll help you find the best leasing rates, and the best BYD models.
