Despite being the entry-level spec, V1 cars are well equipped. They come with a digital cockpit, a 12-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto, sports seats, and a rear-view camera. The looks are enhanced by 18-inch alloy wheels, while the cabin features ambient lighting.

V2 models build on the V1 trim with 19-inch alloy wheels, as well as some driver aids that include a rear-view camera, keyless entry and start, and sport suspension. You also get heated front sport seats that are upholstered in artificial suede called Dinamica.

As the name suggests, the Cupra Leon Shadow Edition gets lots of black trim, such as a black roof spoiler, sporty side skirts painted in Obsidian Black, and black 19-inch alloy wheels. You also get Matrix LED Ultra headlights.

VZ1 spec kicks off with 18-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights on the outside. Moving inside, you'll find a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and a digital instrument display. On top of that, you can add three-zone climate control, cruise control, four USB-C charging ports, front and rear parking sensors and a reversing camera. A sprinkling of chrome and copper trim inside finishes things off.

LED headlights get things off to a good start, followed by 19-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass, a digital cockpit and 10-inch touchscreen. And that's not all. How about an adaptive chassis and speed-sensitive power steering?

Aerodynamic alloy wheels look the business, while inside you're wrapped in heated leather sports seats with electrical adjustment and (for the driver) a memory function. A wireless phone charger keeps your smartphone topped up, too.
