Colour guide
Metallic - Eclipse blue
Free
If you're looking for a dark colour that helps the 508 SW retain the understated and classy appearance that its cool styling deserves, then Eclipse Blue is a great choice. It's a really premium-looking colour that's a bit more interesting than the usual blacks and greys.
Metallic - Cumulus grey
£750
This light shade of Cumulus Grey brings a properly premium look to the 508’s sleek lines. It’s not quite as dark as Nimbus Grey, but that should help it to prevent dirt from showing up quickly over the winter months. Grey cars are always popular as used buys too, so going for this colour should help to prop the car’s residual values up.

Metallic - Nera black
£750
By opting for Nera Black you will dilute a fair amount of the car’s interesting styling lines, but it still makes for a generally attractive colour option on the 508 SW. You’ll have to be prepared to put extra work in to keep it looking clean and shiny, though, as winter grime and summer dust will both show up very vividly against this dark background.
Metallic - Okenite white
£750
This will probably be a good option for residual values, but it's one of our least favourite 508 SW colours. Because this is a big car, and even more so with the extra bodywork for its estate boot, it strays a bit too close to the big fridge look. That said, it contrasts really well up front with the new grille in black.
Metallic - Selenium grey
£750
Much like Eclipse Blue, Selenium Grey is a good way to keep the understated, professional look that's associated with cars like the Peugeot 508 without having to be too boring and follow the crowd. This is a more interesting look than your usual greys, meaning you can make the car look handsome while also seeing strong residual values.
Metallic - Titane Grey
£750
Selenium Grey is a much more intriguing shade of grey, whereas Titane Grey is a bit more typical of the colours you see on other cars. That's not necessarily a bad thing, as it's a good way to get a darker paint job if you don't like black cars, but it's certainly not the most interesting choice you could go for.
Special Paint - Elixir Red
£950
This luxurious shade of Elixir Red isn’t a colour that you’d describe as classically sporty-looking, but it still brings a slightly heightened level of performance appeal to the 508 SW’s already attractive design. It looks particularly smart when paired with larger 19-inch alloy wheels too.
