The BMW M240i Convertible features the same engine, gearbox and suspension options as the Coupe. The chassis has been strengthened to allow an electric folding roof to be fitted, which can be stowed in 20 seconds at speeds of up to 31mph. Insulating and sound deadening linings in the roof fabric ensure wind noise is minimised when travelling at speed.
