Car changing is a big deal
Carwow becomes Porsche Carrera Cup GB and Sprint Challenge GB title partner.
Reading, Great Britain. Carwow, one of the UK’s leading online destinations for car changing, is now the official title partner of Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain and Porsche Sprint Challenge Great Britain. The partnership celebrates the passion, competition and community that define Porsche one-make racing. For the 2026 season, the championships will be known as the Porsche Carwow Carrera Cup Great Britain, and the Porsche Carwow Sprint Challenge Great Britain.
As title partner, the Carwow logo will feature prominently in both championships operated by Porsche Cars Great Britain. Porsche Carwow Carrera Cup Great Britain, the fastest single marque GT racing championship in the UK, enters its 24th season in 2026, with 16 races taking place across eight weekends. Porsche Carwow Sprint Challenge Great Britain, the premier one-make GT4 championship for the Porsche mid-engined coupe, begins its seventh season, with 18 races spread across six weekends.
The new strategic media partnership will provide Carwow with an attractive opportunity to showcase its brand, while providing Porsche with a powerful platform to reach Carwow’s global audience of automotive enthusiasts, leveraging its digital, video and editorial channels. Both Porsche championships race in support of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), with live free-to-air television coverage on ITV4, and online across the world. On four weekends, the two Porsche championships appear on the same roster creating a bumper presence.
The Carwow announcement comes as Porsche celebrates 75 years of motorsport excellence, reflecting on its class win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1951, while also looking to the future with the RACEBORN spirit. Underlining how racing developments translate directly to Porsche road-going models, Porsche Cars Great Britain is also marking 75 years since its first sports car arrived in the country, with the British debut of the Porsche 356 at the Earls Court Motor Show in London in 1951. In celebration of the milestones, Porsche Cars Great Britain will host special events throughout 2026, including participation in the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Last year Porsche GB 2024 / 2025 Junior driver, James Wallis, drove the 911 GT3 Cup to third overall in Sunday’s Hillclimb Shootout, and finished first in the GT category.

Andy McGregor, Marketing Director, Porsche Cars Great Britain: “This collaboration marks an exciting new chapter, as we unite the rich heritage of Porsche Motorsport with Carwow’s modern approach to car changing. We look forward to inspiring and engaging our shared audience, as we explore the synergies between us throughout the exciting racing season ahead.”
James MacNaughton, Manager, Motorsport, Porsche Cars Great Britain: “We are delighted to welcome Carwow as title partner of Porsche Carrera Cup GB and Sprint Challenge GB, as we look forward to an important year of celebrations. Our championships continue to go from strength to strength, forming a crucial part of the Porsche Motorsport Pyramid, and providing a springboard for ambitious drivers to realise their racing dreams.”
Ben Carter, Chief, Customer Marketing and Media Officer at Carwow said, “We’ve been working with Porsche for many years across our editorial titles, and this partnership is a natural fit. The Carrera Cup and Sprint Challenge deliver some of the most exciting racing in the UK and we can’t wait to see the championships come to life across the 2026 season.”
Porsche Cars Great Britain begins its 2026 motorsport season at Donington Park in Leicestershire on the weekend of 16-18 April, where Porsche Carwow Carrera Cup Great Britain, and Porsche Carwow Sprint Challenge Great Britain, will race in support of the BTCC.
