The Citroen C4 Cactus is popular among UK buyers looking for something a little bit different thanks to its distinctive looks and efficient engine choices. Citroen has teamed up with Australian surfing firm ‘Rip Curl’ to add a little outback flavour to this capable French crossover.

Citroen C4 Cactus Rip Curl styling

The C4 Cactus Rip Curl comes in a selection of paint colours including ‘Arctic Steel’ and ‘Obsidian Black’ with contrasting white detailing on the mirror caps and front wings. Rip Curl logos and geometric patterns feature prominently ahead of the doors and on the C pillar that links the roof and the car’s rear.

Roof rails as well as functional ‘airbump’ door panels offer increased practicality while underbody protection plates hint at the enhanced off-road abilities of this special edition Cactus. A panoramic glass roof with thermal protection is fitted as standard.

The Rip Curl’s interior features contrasting orange detailing on the seat belts, floor mats and speaker covers – fabric seats are fitted as standard with part-leather optionally available.

The Rip Curl special edition is based on the Cactus’ ‘Flair’ trim level and features the same standard equipment. This includes rear parking sensors and reversing camera, climate control, automatic lights and wipers, cruise control and tinted windows. An infotainment system with sat-nav, MP3 compatibility and six speakers is fitted at no extra cost.

The Rip Curl edition brings a number of mechanical changes to the table, including the ‘Grip Control’ driver aid. This intelligent system utilises an advanced stability control to maximise the traction available to the front wheels across challenging terrain such as mud, snow and sand.
