Having watched an unhealthy amount of Top Gear as a teenager, Simon decided to swap his native New Zealand for London and set out to become a motoring journalist. Since 2016 he’s been doing just that, and joined Carwow following a 3.5-year stint as a road tester for Autocar - where he drove and reviewed everything from Volkswagen Polos to Lamborghini Aventadors.

When not writing about cars or helping to manage Carwow’s incredible YouTube channel, Simon enjoys brewing (and drinking) beer with his friends, going to gigs and playing far too many games of Catan.
