California Beach Camper
RRP £65,315
Currently unavailable on Carwow
The new medium size Californias are based on the Volkswagen Multivan, meaning you get a good sized camper from the get go. The Beach Camper version misses out on the summer kitchen seen in the Coast and Ocean models, but you do get a smaller, mini-kitchen which has a single ring stove. You also get five full size seats, a sleeping area, a manually operated pop-up roof and an awning mounted on the passenger side. Camper bits aside, you get LED headlights, Volkswagen’s current infotainment screen which allows for phone connectivity, adaptive cruise control, dual sliding doors and swivelling front seats.

California Coast
RRP £72,515
Currently unavailable on Carwow
The California Coast (the camper, not the actual California coast in America), is the next step up from the Beach Camper as you get the larger Summer kitchen, an electrically operated pop-up roof and additional interior lighting for the pop-up roof, kitchen and tailgate. Three-zone air con is standard, as well as a heated windscreen, rear-view camera and keyless entry.

3 engines available with the Coast trim

California Ocean
RRP £79,415
Currently unavailable on Carwow
The California Ocean is the highest standard spec for the California. Camper themed specification is mostly the same as the Coast. In other areas, you now get Matrix LED headlights, heated front seats, the larger ‘Discover Pro’ infotainment screen and electrically sliding doors on both sides.
