Colour guide
Bi-colour solid - Alfa red with black roof
Free
Alfa only offers this two-tone paint work for its Giluia Tributo Italiano models, and it looks great, but it’s not really all that much better than basic Alfa Red on a standard car.
Solid - Alfa red
Free
This deep shade of Alfa red is classic Alfa Romeo. It’s the only no cost colour option available for the Giulia, but this handsome saloon wears it incredibly well. It contrasts really smartly against the car’s darker front and rear bumper sections, and lends it an appealingly sporty look. You might have to put in a bit of extra work over winter to keep it looking spotless, however.

Bi-colour special solid - Banchise white with black roof
£350
Again, only Tributo Italiano versions of the Giulia get this black roof option, and arguably it works better here with the white bodywork than it does with Alfa Red.
Special solid - Banchise White
£350
The Giulia’s a gorgeous car and it looks fabulous in the standard, free Alfa red. So why would you pay extra to make it look like a hire car in this too-plain white finish?
Metallic - Misano blue
£700
This vibrant, dashing shade of metallic light blue looks absolutely fantastic when applied to the Giulia. Just know that you’ll have to opt for the pricier Veloce and Estrema models to be able to spec it. That said, both of these models bring a healthy amount of additional sporty touches to the Giulia’s exterior, and combined with Misano blue paint the Giulia looks like a bonafide high-performance sports saloon.
Metallic - Vesuvio grey
£700
Vesuvio grey might be one of the more conservative colour options you could go for on the Alfa Romeo Giulia, but what it lacks in outright sportiness it more than makes up for in upmarket, premium appeal. This is an impressively classy shade of paint that looks very handsome indeed on the Giulia’s pretty body work, and one that’ll prove to be popular on the used market too.
Metallic - Vulcano black
£700
Vulcano black is certainly an attractive shade of paint, but it’s also one that makes the Alfa Romeo Giulia look a bit nondescript. That said, if you’re after a colour that’ll help you fly under the radar, and which should make for stronger residual values when the time to sell comes around, it’s by no means a bad choice. Just know that it’ll show up a lot of grime when the weather turns, and scratches will be more easily visible.
Bi-colour premium - Montreal green with black roof
£2,000
Only available on the Tributo Italiano version, but with Montreal Green being such a gorgeous shade, why would you take some of it away to have a black roof?
Premium - Montreal green
£2,000
Montreal Green is named after the famous 1970s Alfa Montreal V8 sports car, and like that car it’s truly gorgeous. Bright and eye-catching, but also cool and sophisticated — if you don’t want a red Alfa, this is the colour to go for.
Special premium - Etna red
£2,500
