It may be the starting point for the Giulia range, but the Sprint doesn’t scrimp on kit. It gets an 8.8in touchscreen infotainment system with sat-nav and Bluetooth, active cruise control, rear-view camera, and heated seats/steering wheel.

Veloce models have the performance to match the Giulia’s looks. They come fitted with Alfa’s 280hp petrol engine as standard, get uprated brakes and the same excellent-looking exterior styling pack fitted to Speciale models. Inside, you get Alfa’s Ferrari-style gearshift paddles and a leather interior. It gets Alfa’s uprated, 8.8-inch sat-nav system and front parking sensors. Everything else is carried over from the basic model, including climate control, rear parking sensors, cruise control, auto lights and wipers, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and a DAB digital radio.
