Alpine A290 Specs & Dimensions

Alpine’s A290 starts off with the GT trim, with a 10.1-inch multimedia display and USB-C connectivity as well as Apple CarPlay/Android Auto as standard. LED lighting on the outside is standard too, as is ambient interior lighting and automatic air conditioning and heating modes. Rear privacy glass heated front seats add some creature comfort too.

GT + trim kicks off the Alpine A290 range, and the entry-level hot hatch comes with 19-inch wheels, adaptive cruise control, embroidered textile upholstery, heated front seats, LED lights with headlight high-beam assist, privacy glass and a heat pump as standard.

One step up from the A290’s GT trim is GT Premium - building on the GT with a heated steering wheel and adjustable lumbar support as well as blue roof accents and brake calipers. Upgraded audio and extended nappa leather elevate the cabin a touch too.

The GT Premium focuses more on options whilst the GT Performance brings a more powerful electric motor to the A290. Power jumps up from 180 to 220hp cutting the 0-60mph sprint down to 6.4 seconds, whilst Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres add more grip in the corners with red brake calipers for a sportier look.

A step-up from GT + trim, the GT Performance + is tailored to driving enthusiasts with Michelin Pilot Sport 5S tyres, Brembo four-piston brake calipers and a sporty driving telemetry computer in the infotainment - plus a more powerful electric motor with an extra 40hp.

GTS is essentially the Premium and Performance trims combined, with the 40hp more powerful motor and Michelin Pilot Sport 5S tyres combined with all of the Premium’s luxury upgrades. 360-degree parking assistance comes as standard too.

The top-dog A290 GTS + takes all of the driving enhancements of the GT Performance + and turns up the poshness, with standard-fit ‘snowflake’ alloy wheels, blue trims around the side windows, nappa leather interior trim, customisable ambient lighting and a heated steering wheel.
