Sport models get upgraded 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels as standard and a set of leather upholstered seats. You won’t be arguing over the temperature settings, as you also get dual-zone electronic climate control.

If you’re after sporty looks, the S Line is just for you. Both the front and rear bumpers have a more aggressive design with larger air intakes, but you also have tinted rear windows and larger 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, you have sports seats in the front and LED interior lighting.

The top-end of the Audi A3 range, the Black Edition gets matt grey 19-inch alloy wheels, sports suspension and a three-spoke sport steering wheel, as well as some special cosmetic enhancements to justify the name. They include black Audi rings front and rear, black mirror housings and black treatments around the grille, window frames and bumpers. Plus you also get the LED projection of the Audi logo onto the ground when you open the door.

This trim comes with 18-inch Y-spoke style alloy wheels, plus black highlights for the side skirts, door mirrors, front grille, and of course red brake calipers. Because red makes you stop faster, clearly. We'd save the cash and stick with S line.
