BYD Promotion T&Cs | A Year of Charge. No Charge.

Basis of the “A Year of Charge” claim: The “A Year of Charge” claim is based on the following assumptions: (i) the £500 Cashback is used to fund home electricity costs for charging; (ii) the applicable home electricity rate is 24.67p/kWh, being the Ofgem price cap rate for 1 April to 30 June 2026 (source: ofgem.gov.uk); (iii) the vehicle driven is a BYD Dolphin Surf with a combined active consumption of 4.01 miles/kWh per BYD UK official specification (source: byd.com/uk/electric-cars/dolphin-surf); and (iv) the customer drives an average of 7,400 miles per year (source: Carwow). On these assumptions, the £500 Cashback funds approximately 8,127 miles of driving, equivalent to approximately 13.2 months of typical UK driving. Individual results will vary depending on vehicle model, driving style, electricity tariff, and usage. The Ofgem price cap is subject to change; the rate stated reflects the cap applicable at the date of this Promotion.

General

Promoter: The Promoter is Carwow Limited (CRN:07103079) registered at 2nd Floor, Verde Building, 10 Bressenden Place, London, SW1E 5DH (“Promoter”).

Provider: The Provider is BYD (U.K.) Co. Ltd (CRN: 08458577) registered at Building 5, ARC Uxbridge Sanderson Road, Denham, Uxbridge Middlesex UB8 1DH United Kingdom (“Provider”). The Provider is responsible for funding and ensuring delivery of the cashback to qualifying customers in accordance with these terms. Promotion Period: This Promotion will run from 00:01 on 17th April 2026 to 23:59 on 10th May 2026 inclusive (the “Promotion Period”). Configurations and orders must be completed within the Promotion Period. Customers must take delivery of their vehicle by 31st May 2026 to qualify.

Eligibility: To be eligible for this Promotion you must:

Be a resident of the United Kingdom.
Not be an employee or agent of the Promoter, BYD Auto UK, or any participating BYD retailer, or their group companies or immediate family members.
This Promotion is available at participating BYD retailers only. All BYD retailers active on the Carwow platform are expected to participate; please confirm with your retailer at the point of order.
Available for all BYD Vehicles capable of delivery by 31st May 2026.

How to Qualify

To qualify for this Promotion, you must complete all four of the following steps:

Step 1 — Create a Carwow Account: Register for a Carwow account at carwow.co.uk during the Promotion Period, using the email address you intend to use for your vehicle purchase; and
Step 2 — Configure a BYD: While logged into your Carwow account, complete a configuration of a new BYD vehicle on the Carwow platform during the Promotion Period; and
Step 3 — Place an Order and Elect Your Cashback Method: Place an order for a new BYD vehicle through a participating BYD retailer during the Promotion Period. At the time of placing your order, you must notify the retailer that you are participating in this Promotion and elect one of the following methods for receiving the Cashback: (a) as a contribution towards the deposit or down payment on a finance agreement for the vehicle; or (b) by bank transfer to a UK bank account nominated by you. The retailer will record your election at the point of order. Failure to notify the retailer of your participation and elect a payment method at the time of ordering may result in forfeiture of the Cashback; and
Step 4 — Take Delivery: take delivery of your new BYD vehicle by 31st May 2026.

All four steps must be completed within the relevant deadlines. Orders placed during the Promotion Period that do not proceed to delivery by 31st May 2026 will not qualify.

Only one cashback payment is available per qualifying customer, regardless of the number of configurations completed or vehicles purchased.

The Promotion is available on new BYD vehicles only. Used, nearly-new, pre-registered, or demonstrator vehicles are not eligible.

This Promotion is exclusive to Carwow and is not available through any other platform, retailer direct, or BYD channel.

The Offer

Qualifying customers will receive £500 cashback (the “Cashback”). The Cashback will be paid by the participating retailer at the point the order is placed in accordance with Step 3, either: (a) as a contribution towards the deposit or down payment on a finance agreement for the vehicle; or (b) by bank transfer to the UK bank account nominated by the customer at the time of order. The Cashback is funded by the Provider, who will reimburse the participating retailer accordingly. The customer’s entitlement to the Cashback is solely against the participating retailer at point of delivery.

The Cashback is non-transferable and no alternative is offered save as set out in these terms.

Identification of Qualifying Customers and Fulfilment

The Cashback will be provided by the participating retailer at the point of delivery of the qualifying vehicle.

Following the close of the Promotion Period, the Promoter will conduct a data matching exercise by comparing configuration and account registration data collected via the Carwow platform against vehicle sales data provided by BYD Auto UK, matched by email address, to verify qualifying customers (the “Sales Match”).

By participating in this Promotion, you consent to the Promoter sharing your email address and configuration data with BYD Auto UK solely for the purpose of conducting the Sales Match and administering this Promotion.

The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of order, delivery, or other verification from any customer or retailer in connection with this Promotion.

General Terms

By participating in this Promotion, you confirm you have read and agree to be bound by these terms.

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or withdraw this Promotion at any time, including in the event that the Promotion cannot run as intended due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any customer it reasonably believes has engaged in fraudulent activity, provided false information, or otherwise breached these terms.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for configurations, account registrations, or orders not successfully completed or recorded due to technical fault, system failure, or network error of any kind. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their configuration and account registration are completed on the Carwow platform.

The Promoter’s decision on any matter relating to this Promotion is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

Liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of this Promotion except where caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

The Promoter will not be responsible for acts, omissions, or occurrences beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: a) any postponement or cancellation of the Promotion; b) any failure by the Provider, a participating retailer, or BYD Auto UK to apply or dispatch the Cashback; c) any act, omission or default of BYD Auto UK or any participating retailer; or d) any dispute between a customer and a retailer regarding the application of the Cashback. Once responsibility for the Cashback has passed to the Provider in accordance with clause 2, the Promoter shall have no further liability in connection with its delivery.

Data

By participating in this Promotion, you acknowledge that the Promoter and its group companies may process, store, and use the personal data you provide (including your email address and configuration data) for the following purposes: (i) to administer this Promotion and conduct the Sales Match described in clause 13; (ii) to share your details with BYD Auto UK solely for the purposes of verifying qualifying customers; and (iii) for any other reasonable purpose directly related to this Promotion. General Legal

Severability: If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

No Waiver: The Promoter’s failure to enforce any of these terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that or any other provision.

Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
