Adaptive cruise control comes as standard with the V1, and its great for long motorway drives. The leather steering wheel is heated and behind it you have a 5.3-inch digital driver’s display. There’s even a rear view parking camera with front and rear sensors, and that’s displayed through an impressive 12-inch central infotainment touchscreen. 18-inch alloy wheels come as standard, too.

The 19-inch ‘Typhoon’ machined alloy wheels and the tinted rear windows are both subtle upgrades that come with the V2. An augmented reality head-up display is also included and that displays key driving and navigation information for the driver onto the windscreen.There are also heated front seats which are perfect for warming up on a cold winter day.

The VZ trim is essentially a performance-focused version of the Cupra Born. Power is increased to 326hp and you get reworked suspension and brakes for a better driving experience. There's also some mild sporty exterior design tweaks, while inside you get figure-hugging bucket seats and paddles behind the steering wheel to alter the amount of regenerative braking.
