Is this the electric car for you?

The Hyundai Ioniq 3 could be one for you if you’re looking for a car with futuristic styling, distinctive pixel-inspired lights and a spacious interior. With a quoted boot capacity of 441 litres, it also offers plenty of practicality for everyday journeys, shopping trips and family outings.

Inside, you’ll find a 12.9-inch or 14.6-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as physical controls for adjusting the temperature. Two battery options offer up to 213 or 308 miles of official range, while rapid charging from 10% to 80% takes around 30 minutes.

However, performance is fairly modest, and its real-world range remains to be seen, as this will depend on driving conditions. Even so, the Ioniq 3 offers an appealing mix of eye-catching design, modern technology and everyday practicality, making it a strong contender.
