The standard equipment fitted in the base trim level includes 18” AMG alloys, ambient lighting with a projection of the three-pointed star logo, AMG Line exterior bodystyling, heat-insulating dark-tinted glass, LED headlights with adaptive highbeam assist, a Mirror Package, Parking Package with reversing camera, sport suspension and blind spot assist.

With CLE models so well equipped, there’s not much else the range-topping Premier Edition can add, but there is an extra Night Package for those who want the complete version.

The Mercedes-AMG CLE is available with a high-performance AMG 53 version that makes 472hp. You get a sporty AMG bodykit on the outside and AMG-specific trim and upholstery inside. It all feels very expensive, and is supplemented by an extensive equipment list that includes automatic parking with a 360-degree camera, adaptive high-beam that won't dazzle oncoming drivers, and the latest Mercedes infotainment system with AMG-specific menus.
