Toyota bZ4X Specs & Dimensions

Icon is the entry-level bZ4X, but it comes well-equipped as standard. You get 18-inch alloy wheels, an electric boot lid, heat pump, 14.0-inch touchscreen infotainment and ambient lighting as standard. The biggest difference to the Icon version is a smaller battery than the rest of the range, with up to 274 miles of range.

The mid-spec Motion trim level of Toyota's first full electric model adds privacy glass and auto wipers to the standard kit list, along with some neat ambient lighting and heated seats in the front, which also get powered movement and lumbar support on the driver's side. Wireless phone charging and a rear spoiler mark out the Motion model, which also benefits from clever high beam assist tech, 360-degree panoramic camera view and a multimedia touchscreen that increases in size to 12.3 inches

The Design trim level is a step up from Icon, and while the equipment levels are pretty much the same, you get a larger battery as standard offering a longer range of up to 352 miles to a charge - the longest of any bZ4X.

The top-spec Vision bZ4X benefits from a two-inch increase in its alloy wheels, taking them to 20 inches, while the boot can be opened automatically with a flick of the foot under the rear bumper. The front seats are ventilated as well as heated, and the steering wheel also gets the heated treatment. Useful little touches include a washer fluid level warning and memory function for the driver's seat, and this range-topping Toyota EV gets lane departure control safety tech and blind spot monitoring

Excel is the top-dog bZ4X, sitting above the Design model in the range. Again standard-fit kit is largely similar, and you get the same large battery as the Design, though in this case a faster AC charger and a set of larger 20-inch alloy wheels.
