What our customer say

About Hyundai

Hyundai has been selling cars in the UK since 1982, not long after the car-making arm of the gigantic Hyundai industrial empire was started, in large part by a British engineer named George Turnbull.

Hyundai started out as a maker of very cheap and cheerful cars, that were supposed to offer a cut-price alternative to mainstream brands, but since the early 2000s, Hyundai has been moving steadily upmarket, and it’s not now merely a direct competitor for the likes of Volkswagen, Peugeot, and Toyota, but some of its cars actually bear comparison to premium models from BMW and Mercedes.

Hyundai has a sprawling range which includes the tiny Inster electric city car, the hugely popular Tucson and Santa Fe SUVs (the Santa Fe being a multiple Carwow award winner), and a broad range of electric cars including the Ioniq 5, and the big seven-seater Ioniq 9.

Hyundai has long been renowned for its reliability and quality, and it offers a five-year, unlimited mileage warranty across all of the cars it sells in the UK, something that really helped to establish the brand with UK buyers when it was still growing out of its ‘bargain basement’ origins.

Why lease a Hyundai?

Hyundai might have started out as a cheap brand, but nowadays it’s a proper, mainstream car maker, with a lineup that’s every bit the equal of any of the big European or Japanese car companies. Indeed, in many instances, Hyundais are a better choice.

It’s a car maker that’s focusing on electric cars too, and its EV models often have better real-world range than others, while the hugely powerful Ioniq 5 N has shown that an electric car can be just as much fun to drive as a car with a combustion engine.

When it comes to leasing a Hyundai, you can lump most or all of your motoring expenses into one monthly payment, which makes life simpler for many people, and makes it easy to budget. When it comes to Hyundai’s electric range, it also makes lots of sense to lease, as it means you’re not buying the car to own in the long term, only to find that it’s been left behind by technological developments. Equally, EVs often have fluctuating second hand values, and leasing protects you from that to an extent.

Leasing programmes can also offer other benefits such as fully-inclusive packages that cover your servicing, insurance, VED tax, and even fresh sets of tyres. Leasing programs can also provide comprehensive benefits, such as packages that include servicing, insurance, VED tax, and even new tyres.

You can lease your Hyundai through Carwow too, and we’ll help you find the best leasing rates, and the best Hyundai models.
