This is arguably the best colour choice for the Ceed Sportwagon, as it’s dark enough to look classy and attractive, but not quite so dark as the black paint that you’re skirting the ‘driving-a-hearse’ issue. This is one of the darker metallic greys on offer, so it has something of a BMW look to it, and it really suits the Ceed Sportwagon.
Premium paint - Fusion white
£570
White might seem like a safe option for a family estate, but it does come with a couple of problems. Keeping it clean is one, but the other issue is that a white estate just ends up looking like it’s been bought cheap by a government department or utility provider. The metallic finish of Kia’s Fusion White helps, but there are more interesting shades to be had.
Premium paint - Infra Red
£570
True, a red estate can make it look slightly like you’ve started working for the local fire brigade, but the Ceed Sportwagon wears this dark, warm red with relative ease and it’s a colour that’s vibrant enough to make what is a slightly plain-looking car look a touch more attractive at a first glance.
Premium paint - Phantom black
£570
Black is a tough colour to make work on an estate, not least because you’re running the risk of making it look like you’re driving a hearse. The nice deepness of Kia’s Phantom Black does help you avoid the worst of that effect, but as with the white option, there are better colours to choose from here.
