Colour guide
Metallic - Deep blue
Free
This Deep Blue is excellent at showing up the silvery trim details around the window and on the grille, while hiding the rear window panel on the C-pillar. It’s not the most exciting option though, with nicer metallic options on offer.
Metallic - F Sport White
Free
Only offered with the F Sport trim, this white contrasts the black detailing of the grille and wheels excellently. You can get nicer colours that complement the character of the F Sport better, though, as the white will show up dirt a lot as well.

Metallic - Graphite black
Free
If you want your large SUV to go a little more under the radar, Graphite Black doesn’t shout out like other colour options. Being a neutral colour means it should perform well if you choose to sell the car on, too.
Metallic - Mesa red
Free
With the sharp, sporty detailing, this Mesa Red suits the RX well. Working nicely alongside the black and silver trim pieces, this red may not perform the best on the used market though, as people prefer less stand-out colours most of the time.
Metallic - Terrane khaki
Free
Green is an underrated colour for cars these days, and this Terrane Khaki works nicely with the crisp details of the RX. If you’re one to go out in the country and travel on muddier roads, this colour will do a good job of hiding the grime too.
Special metallic - Azure blue
£250
This F Sport-exclusive Azure Blue is a richer version of Deep Blue, with more metallic detailing adding depth. It also looks great paired with the black trim pieces of the sporty RX trim and could perform well as a used option on the second-hand market.
Special metallic - Sonic copper
£250
Only Lexus would dare risk a colour like this for its cars, and on the RX it looks excellent. It stands out and complements the shape and styling of the SUV wonderfully. It might not be as popular with second-hand buyers, but we think it’s the pick of the palette.
Special metallic - Sonic grey
£250
This Sonic Grey neither amazes or bores us. It works nicely with the modern design of the RX, but won’t stand out in a line-up. It will, however, be popular with those looking to pick this car up on the used market thanks to its rather neutral tone.
Special metallic - Sonic platinum
£250
Silver has been a consistent winner for second-hand buyers in the UK, so this Sonic Platinum will likely help you recoup some money when you choose to sell your RX on. While it’s not the most exciting choice for the car, it does look smart.
Special metallic - Sonic titanium
£250
Mixing a bit of gold and silver, this Sonic Titanium is quite a bold choice for the RX, if not a bit of a throwback to previous Lexus colour options. It’s not the nicest-looking choice to our eyes though, with alternatives in the line-up suiting the RX better.
Special metallic - Sonic white
£250
This is quite a dull choice if we have anything to say about it. This Sonic White doesn’t inspire as much as the copper, blue and red colours you can have with the RX, but it will do well as a neutral colour on the used market.
