Mercedes-Benz GLS Specs & Dimensions

The Mercedes GLS AMG Line comes with 22-inch alloy wheels, adaptive air suspension, sporty AMG bumpers, LED headlights, a panoramic glass roof and metal-effect running boards. Inside, you get seven electrically adjustable seats, 64-colour ambient lighting, a Nappa-leather sports steering wheel and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring on the dual-screen dashboard display. You also get Mercedes' latest voice-controlled MBUX infotainment system as standard, alongside wireless phone charging, a Burmester stereo, cruise control and plenty of driver assistance systems including lane-keeping assist and automatic emergency braking.

The GLS Exclusive builds on the Premium Plus with the addition of trim-specific bumpers and body cladding, massaging front seats, a panoramic glass roof, illuminated grille surround, ‘Superscreen’ interior dashboard displays, Exclusive-specific interior trims, heated armrests on the centre console and door cards and heated window washer fluid to better clean the windscreen.

Business Class is the higher of the two specs available to GLS buyers if you don’t count the AMG and Maybach versions. Available with a choice of petrol and diesel power, Business Class cars come with a heated steering wheel, luxury headrests for the outer rear seats, heated and climatised seats in all three rows, an MBUX rear tablet, and two wireless headsets.

The regular GLS is already a high-end car, and the luxurious Maybach model takes it a step further. Equipment on this spec includes five-zone air-conditioning, laminated windows which help make the cabin quieter on the move and a 3D surround sound system. You can also tell the Maybach model apart from the regular GLS by its shiny chrome grille and huge 23-inch alloy wheels.

As its name suggests, this is an even more opulent version of the already very plush GLS Maybach. Most of the equipment is carried over, though the ‘normal’ Maybach’s three rear seats are replaced with a pair of reclining chairs. The centre console in between the two chairs comes with its own touchscreen tablet controller and a pair of champagne flute holders.

The Maybach GLS Night Series is ultra-luxury with a moody makeover. It gets all the high-end finishes of the regular Maybach GLS, but gets a black package with all exterior chrome replaced with gloss black, black wheels and even black badging.

First Class Night Series is the pinnacle of the Maybach GLS range. It features the same amazing four-seater layout of the First Class model, but blacks out the exterior and interior trim with walnut panels and black Nappa leather matching gloss black exterior trim panels and even a black Mercedes emblem.
