Mini has made a new special edition version of the John Cooper Works hatchback. Called the 1to6, it gets unique styling tweaks and new interior trim.

This is the new, special edition Mini John Cooper Works 1to6. It’s limited to just 999 units worldwide, with only 150 of those making it to the UK.
New Mini John Cooper Works 1to6 design
This special edition Mini John Cooper Works has been fitted with a fair amount of jewellery to make it stand out compared to the standard car.
All the trim on the car is finished in gloss black, including the grille, and you get a unique stripe on the bonnet as well. Being the John Cooper Works model, the lower bumper is much more aggressive-looking than the standard Mini’s.
You get 18-inch alloy wheels as standard, and choosing a colour is easy because black is the only one available. There is also a pretty big rear spoiler, as well as a sporty-looking lower diffuser.
New Mini John Cooper Works 1to6 engine
The new Mini John Cooper Works 1to6 gets the same engine as the standard car. That means you have a 2.0-litre petrol four-cylinder with 231hp, paired with a manual gearbox.
It’ll do 0-60mph in 6.3 seconds, which is around the same as the standard John Cooper Works. It’s also a few tenths of a second faster than the Ford Fiesta ST.

The interior of the new Mini John Cooper Works 1to6 comes fully loaded as standard. You have heated leather seats, a panoramic sunroof as well as some red accents.
There’s also an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a Harmon Kardon premium sound system.
How much does the Mini John Cooper Works 1to6 cost?
The new Mini John Cooper Works 1to6 is available to order now, but you’d better be pretty quick if you want one because only 150 are coming to the UK.
