The entry-level version of the Buzz is called Life. It comes with a digital cockpit, a 10-inch touchscreen navigation system, a removeable storage box, two-zone climate control, a rear-view camera, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The list of safety kit is a long one, including autonomous emergency braking with cyclist and pedestrian detection.

Style spec includes several useful upgrades over the entry-level Life. There are arm rests on both sides of the front seats, 30-colour ambient lighting, 20-inch alloys, and LED matrix headlights. It’s also fitted with what VW calls a multi-flex board, which brings the boot space to the height of the rear seats when they are folded flat.
