Metallic - Black sapphire
This pure black colour suits the chunky lines of the X4, and the metallic effect looks great, too. Dust and dirt don’t look too noticeable on this dark colour, so you won’t need to keep washing it after every downpour.
Metallic - Brooklyn grey
Brooklyn is a lighter shade of grey with a metallic finish. It looks sophisticated and understated on the X4 and should be easier to keep clean than Alpine white. You do pay for it on lower trims, though.
All the information you need on the BMW X4.
Metallic - Carbon black
This shade of black has a dark metallic blue effect that can be seen best in bright sunlight. It gives the X4 a rather posh look, and is popular with new and used car buyers. It hides dirt well, but looks at its best when sparkling clean – just don’t leave any messy swirl marks as they are easy to see on such a dark colour.
Metallic - Phytonic blue
This is one of the more extrovert colours on offer for the X4, although it still looks sophisticated and elegant. Phytonic blue looks great with the larger front grille and wheels on the sportier trims, but also elevates the look of the base models. It should be popular on the used car market as well.
Metallic - Sophisto grey
Sophisto is the darker of the two grey colours offered here. It has a certain understated elegance about it, and will suit those looking for a darker hue but not wanting to go for a totally black colour.
Solid - Alpine white
This is the only solid colour on offer for the X4, and it’s also the only one that’s free across all trim levels. It may not be very adventurous, but it looks good on the X4 and white’s always a popular choice on the second-hand market.
