The used electric car market has expanded significantly in recent years, giving you more choice than ever. With so many options available, it can be difficult to find the models that offer the best value.

To help narrow down your search, we’ve selected five of the best used electric cars currently listed on Carwow.

Remember, you can buy a used electric car right here on Carwow. We’re here to help you through every step of your car-changing journey.

Tesla Model Y

First up, we have the Tesla Model Y, which was the best-selling new car in June but also makes a great used buy. This electric SUV has loads of space inside, full of useful tech, and a cabin that feels premium. However, we find it’s quite noisy on the motorway and can be bumpy around town.

The Tesla Model Y has a starting price of £41,990, but you can get it through Carwow for a lot less. We found a deal on a 2024 Standard version which has 283 miles of range on a single charge and 14,000 miles on the clock, all for £27,480.

With this, you get:

  • Five-star safety rating
  • Heated seats and steering wheel
  • Climate control
  • Reversing camera
  • 15.0-inch touchscreen display
  • Wireless phone charging
  • Premium audio with 14 speakers

Volkswagen ID7

Next up is the Volkswagen ID7, a long-range electric car that’s not only relaxing down the motorway, it’s got a posh interior, along with comfortable rear seats and a big boot too. That being said, we’re not great fans of the dark, monochrome dashboard and it’s also not much fun to drive.

The Volkswagen ID7 has a starting price of £51,445, but we’ve found a used example from 2024 for almost half the price of a new one. This deal is for an Edition Pro version that’s got a range of up to 384 miles on a single charge and 13,896 miles on the clock, all for £28,995.

It also comes with the following features:

  • Five-star safety rating
  • Heated massage front seats
  • 15.0-inch centre display
  • Wireless smartphone charger
  • 360-degree aerial view parking camera
  • Adaptive cruise control

Vauxhall Frontera Electric

The Vauxhall Frontera Electric is a small-ish electric family car that can go up to 249 miles on a single charge, has loads of interior space and is comfortable to drive. Alternatives do have better range, though, and the materials inside do feel cheap. That said, it’s good value for money if you’re just looking for an EV to run around town.

The Vauxhall Frontera Electric has a starting price of £23,995, but we’ve found a used example from 2026 for a lot less. This is for a GS version that’s got a range of up to 190 miles on a single charge and only 3,104 miles on the clock, for £18,495.

You also get the following features:

  • Wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay
  • 10.0-inch touchscreen
  • Front and rear parking sensors
  • Cruise control
  • 17-inch alloy wheels

Ford Puma Gen-E

This electric SUV has a familiar, practical body that’s good to drive and has a huge boot of up to 556 litres. The Ford Puma Gen-E also has great efficiency around town. However, such efficiency drops off sharply on the motorway and it only has a modest range and performance.

The Ford Puma Gen-E usually starts at £29,995, but we’ve found a used example from 2026 for a lot less. This is for a Select version that’s got a range of up to 233 miles on a single charge and only 2,459 miles on the clock, for £21,000.

  • Android Auto/Apple CarPlay
  • Cruise control
  • Wireless charging
  • Parking camera and sensors
  • 12-0-inch touchscreen display
  • 19-inch alloy wheels

Hyundai Kona Electric

Rounding out this list is the Hyundai Kona Electric. This family car has an excellent electric range of up to 319 miles that’s great to drive around town, and is really spacious inside. However, you will find some cheap materials inside and it’s not much fun on a twisty road.

The Hyundai Kona Electric usually starts at £35,000, but you can get a used example from 2024 for more than half the price of a new one. This is for an Advance version that’s got a range of up to 319 miles on a single charge and 36,262 miles on the clock, all for £16,995.

With this, you get:

  • Android Auto/Apple CarPlay
  • 12.3-inch touchscreen
  • Smart cruise control with stop and go functionality
  • Front and rear parking sensors
  • Tow hitch
  • 17-inch alloy wheels
