What our customer say

About Nissan

Nissan became famous in the 1970s and 1980s with its lineup of cars that, while a bit on the boring side (mostly), were much more reliable and solidly built than most other cars on the road at the time.

From that starting point, Nissan expanded fast, setting up a factory in the UK, and creating more memorable models such as the ZX sports car lineup, the fab-to-drive 1990s Primera, and eventually inventing the family crossover with the original Qashqai, a car that has gone on to sell millions around the world.

Nissan also got in on the ground floor of the electric revolution, creating the original Nissan Leaf, a car that was the first EV to snatch the European Car Of The Year crown (two decades after the 1992 Micra was the first Japanese car to do so).

Now, Nissan is re-inventing itself as a maker of more sophisticated cars, starting with the third-generation Leaf which morphs into a roomy but sleek crossover with a 370-mile range.

Why lease a Nissan?

Leasing a Nissan makes lots of sense, especially if you’re going for one of the electric models, the Leaf or the Ariya. That’s because EV technology keeps leaping ahead, and leasing means you won’t get stuck in the longer term, owning an electric car that, thanks to better batteries or faster charging, is suddenly obsolete.

The uncertain resale value of electric cars also makes a compelling reason for leasing, as it means that you never own the car, so you’re only paying for the depreciation in the years where you’re actually using the car, and not for its entire lifetime.

Unlike when you buy on Hire Purchase or PCP, there’s usually no option to keep your car at the end of the lease — it will have to be returned, but leasing companies make that easy to do.

Leasing programmes can also offer other benefits such as fully inclusive packages that cover your servicing, insurance, VED tax, and even fresh sets of tyres.

You can lease your Nissan through Carwow too, and we’ll help you find the best leasing rates, and the best Nissan models.

Nissan lease car FAQs

Yes, Nissan leases cars and so too does Carwow, and you can find some cracking Nissan lease deals right here.
A Nissan is as good as any other car to lease, so as long as you’ve done your homework and decided that a lease is the right solution for you, then yes, a Nissan is good to lease.
Simply apply for a lease deal through a Nissan dealer, or check out Carwow’s Nissan leasing deals right here on the site.
That will depend on your individual leasing deal. Some leases can be extended, but in general leasing companies prefer you to hand back the car and start a new lease all over again.
That will depend on your individual leasing deal. Some leases can be ended early, but there will often be an expensive penalty payment, so check the fine print before signing on.
