Save £1,675 on a new Volvo EX30*

The Volvo EX30 usually starts at £33,060, but through Carwow you can currently save up to £1,675 off at the time of writing. This offer applies to the Core trim, which comes with up to 209 miles of WLTP range and features such as:
- 12.3-inch central touchscreen
- Google built-in (including Google Assistant)
- Adaptive cruise control
- Blind spot monitoring
- 18-inch alloy wheels

Volvo is also offering 0% APR finance on Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) and Business Contract Hire (BCH) deals for selected EX30 models, including the Plus and Ultra trims.
Range varies depending on the powertrain rather than just trim level, with figures broadly spanning from around 209 miles on entry-level versions up to roughly 300 miles on higher-range variants.
Depending on specification, the Plus and Ultra trims can include features such as:
- Harman Kardon premium sound system
- Recycled or “Nordico” upholstery materials
- Panoramic roof
- 360-degree/3D surround-view camera system
Why consider the Volvo EX30?

I’d recommend the Volvo EX30 because it delivers standout style and a genuinely premium, minimalist feel in a small electric SUV. In fact, it’s so good, I named it 2024 Carwow car of the Year.
The EX30 is comfortable, easy to drive in the city, and its clean design inside and out gives it real showroom appeal.
It’s less convincing on practicality, though, with a cramped rear, small boot, and fiddly touchscreen controls. Range also falls short in real-world use, with up to 296 miles between charges , and the driver assists can be intrusive.
Still, if you prioritise design, comfort, and urban usability over space, the EX30 remains a very appealing choice.
Alternatives to the Volvo EX30
Still not convinced? Here are some other electric options to consider:
- Kia EV3: Up to 375-mile range but the heat pump is only available on the most expensive model.
- Skoda Elroq: Great all rounder but it’s boring to drive.
- Cupra Born: Practical, spacious interior but has a laggy infotainment system.
