Get behind the wheel of this practical and posh-feeling Chinese electric car with 0% APR and average savings of £2,600 on Carwow.

Today’s deal of the day is on a left-field Chinese electric car from newcomer Aion. The Aion V comes with loads of standard kit and a really impressive warranty, and there are also some great deals to be had.

Get 0% APR finance on the Aion V

The Aion V starts from £36,450, and you can get one on PCP finance with 0% APR. What’s more, you can also save up to £5,650 on certain models, and for your money you get:

  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Heated front and rear seats
  • Heated steering wheel
  • Wireless phone charging
  • Panoramic glass roof

All this can be yours for as little as £399 per month on PCP finance with a £2,200 deposit. This is over four years in total, with an optional final payment of £15,500.

Why should you buy the Aion V?

We like the Aion V for its spacious and posh-feeling interior. There’s acres of rear legroom and plenty of storage space, and all the materials feel properly posh. You can also get a Premium Pack for a few grand more, and this adds a temperature controlled centre cubby which can reach up to 50 degrees celsius, or drop as low as -15 degrees.

It also has a super-impressive warranty package. You get an eight-year warranty, as well as eight years worth of MOT tests, servicing and roadside assistance. That’s about the best aftercare in the business.

The range may only be average at 317 miles, and the button-free interior is awkward to use on the move, but the Aion V is pretty comfortable to drive and it’s great value for money.

Three alternatives to the Aion V

Not convinced by the Aion V? Here are three alternatives to consider instead.

  • Skoda Elroq: Spacious, comfortable and easy to live with, but not as well-equipped
  • Geely EX5: Posh interior and loads of kit, but the boot is on the small side
  • Kia EV3: Up to 375 miles of range and a roomy cabin, but some materials feel cheap
