Online car changing marketplace Carwow has shared a roundup of the best EV deals in its September Sale, to celebrate World EV Day (9th September).

Participating retailers are offering savings of up to £10,000 across electric cars from leading brands including Citroen, MG and BYD – some are available in-stock to drive away today, while others available to order for those wanting to build their car to a certain specification.

Iain Reid, head of editorial at Carwow, says these are some of the best deals currently available on new EVs:

Dacia Spring – available from less than £15,000 with a saving of up to £980
Electric cars are really expensive, right? Well, Dacia doesn’t think so. The new Dacia Spring EV costs less than £15,000 making it the cheapest new electric car on sale by quite a margin.

Citroen e-C3 – available from less than £22,000 with a saving of up to £1,870
The Citroen e-C3 is great value and really likeable.

MG4 – available from less than £20,000 – with a saving of up to £9,000 on its list price
The MG4 EV is a seriously fun-to-drive, great-looking hatchback with outstanding value for money.

BYD Dolphin – available from less than £26,200 with a saving of up to £2630
The BYD Dolphin is a mid-sized electric car bringing good levels of equipment and decent practicality, as well as a low starting price – all attributes that made it highly commended in the Smart Spender category of the 2024 Carwow Car of the Year Awards.

Peugeot e-2008 – available from less than £25,000 – with a saving of up to £11,900 on its list price
If you want a small electric SUV that’s stylish inside and out without sacrificing comfort and practicality, the Peugeot E-2008 is worthy of a spot on your shortlist.

Renault Megane – available from less than £27,000 – with a saving of up to £7,850 on its list price

The Renault Megane is a family car with sharp looks that’s comfortable and easy to drive.

Iain said: “We’re here to help consumers change cars with total confidence, and there is a range of fantastic deals on EVs, with huge bargains to be had. What better time to make the switch to an EV car than on World EV Day!”
