Peugeot has been in business for way longer than there have been cars on the road — the company started up more than 200 years ago making kitchen implements (which it still does, actually) and only got into car making when Armand Peugeot decided that this whole new-fangled car-making thing might be worth a go.

Since then, Peugeot has become a household name for cars – you might remember the 205 and 405 from the 1980s, but the lineage stretches way back to the late 1800s, and forward to the modern era of the electric E-3008 and E-208. 

Peugeot tends to make cars that are sturdy and practical, but which have just enough French flair to ensure that they’re characterful too. 

Why lease a Peugeot?

Peugeot makes family-focused cars, so pretty much no matter which one you choose, you’ll be getting something that’s spacious and practical, and usually good to drive too. 
Leasing makes a lot of sense when it comes to driving a Peugeot, not least because the company is one of the first to offer a fully-electric version of every model that it makes. With electric cars having wobbly residual value, leasing makes the most sense because it insulates you from the depreciation of the car, and it means that it’s easier to upgrade if better EV tech comes along — you’re not locked into owning a car that’s suddenly become obsolete. 

Beyond that, leasing means that most of your major motoring expenses are bundled up into one manageable monthly payment, which makes life a lot easier, and leasing is generally cheaper overall than taking on a PCP or HP finance deal.
