My chosen deal of the day for 16 Feb 2026 is a chunky discount on one of my favourite premium SUVs. It may not be all that practical, but with looks to die for and a comfy driving experience you can easily forgive it.

The Range Rover Evoque is one of the best-looking small SUVs you can buy, but there’s more to this car than just its looks. It’s also packed with tech, super-comfortable to drive and, unlike most other cars in this class, it can actually go off-road.

One of the only real drawbacks is the price, because it is usually quite expensive for a car this size. This is where Carwow comes to the rescue though, because you can save up to £5,750 on a new Range Rover Evoque right now.

Save up to £5,750 on a new Range Rover Evoque*

The Range Rover Evoque usually starts from just over £45,000, but through Carwow right now you can get the entry-level S version for as little as £41,400. That makes it a smidge cheaper than a BMW X2, and around £3,000 less than a Lexus NX.

However, the biggest savings can be found on the top-spec Autobiography model with the 2.0-litre diesel engine. This car usually starts from around £55,000, but through Carwow you can save up to £5,750 to bring it down to just below £50,000.

The Autobiography sits right at the top of the Evoque range, meaning it comes packed with luxury features. You get 20-inch alloy wheels, Matrix LED headlights, a panoramic glass roof, adaptive cruise control, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.

Why should you consider a Range Rover Evoque?

One of the Evoque’s biggest selling points is the way it looks, because it’s effortlessly cool. The squat stance and sleek lights give it a sporty appearance, and there are plenty of bold colour options to choose from as well.

It’s also a lovely car to drive thanks to comfy suspension and light controls. The Evoque is relaxing on the motorway, and the dinky dimensions make it pretty easy to navigate around town as well.

And, unlike most other small SUVs, the Evoque can actually handle itself off the beaten track. It’s not lost any of its Land Rover DNA in this regard, so if you need to venture off the beaten track then this is about the only small premium SUV you can choose.

Range Rover Evoque alternatives

The Evoque is a great option if you’re looking for something small and stylish, but it’s not perfect. Here are three alternatives you should also consider, each of them addressing one of our gripes with the dinky Range Rover.

Audi Q3: the more practical option

One of the Evoque’s main drawbacks is the tight rear seats and small boot, so if you need more interior space then an Audi Q3 is a better bet. It may not look as cool as the Range Rover, but it’s a comfortable and well-made small SUV nonetheless.

BMW X2: the driver’s choice

If you’re after something to put a smile on your face on a country road, the BMW X2 is the small SUV for you. It feels more agile than the Evoque thanks to sharper steering, but the trade-off is suspension which doesn’t iron out bumps quite as well.

Lexus NX: better build quality

Range Rover doesn’t have the best reputation for reliability. While senior reviews writer Mario Christou was running an Evoque over Christmas, he also commented that the interior felt a bit cheap in places for such an expensive car. This is where the Lexus NX shines, because its cabin feels much more solid, and the Toyota-derived hybrid engine is renowned for its dependability.
