MINI Yours special Metallic - Enigmatic black
Enigmatic black has a touch of blue and a nice metallic shine to set it apart from more mundane black colours, and it gives the MINI a more mature look. Contrasting mirror caps work well here, although it is the priciest colour option unless you go for the Resolute trim where it is free.
Metallic - Melting silver lll
Melting silver is the standard no-cost colour on the base Classic trim. It doesn’t do much for the spunky little MINI’s image though, and you actually have to pay for it on the higher trims. You may want to add some bonnet stripes and a white roof to spice things up, or perhaps look at one of the more interesting colour options.
All the information you need on the MINI 3-Door Hatch.
Special solid - Chili red
This solid red finish is definitely a head-turner, and can be had as a no-cost option on the Cooper S Sport trim. It’s £525 on other trims but may still be worth it as it really highlights the sporting nature of the MINI. Red isn’t always a popular used car colour but that shouldn’t be an issue here.
Special solid - Rebel green
This rather striking colour is paired with bonnet stripes and a white roof and mirror caps as standard. It looks classically stylish and sporty at the same time. It’s a no-cost option but is limited to the top-spec Resolute trim models only.
Special Metallic - British racing green
British racing green is a vibrant shade of green that looks good on any trim, but really stands out when paired with a set of large alloy wheels and black bonnet stripes. Green isn’t always a fan favourite come resale time, but it certainly makes more sense here on a sporty little hatch than on a large luxury saloon.
Special Metallic - Island blue
If colours had a smell, then this one would be a mix of an ocean breeze and coconut sun cream. Mmmm, nice. In terms of actual colour descriptions, Island blue is a lighter shade of blue with a sparkly metallic finish. It looks very crisp and fresh on the MINI and you can spice things up further with some contrasting roof finishes and stripes, too.
Special Metallic - Midnight black ll
This is more of a pure black than the subtly lighter Enigmatic black option. You can lighten things up with some contrasting exterior finishes or go for the full stealth look and add a set of black alloy wheels.
Special Metallic - Nanuq White
It may seem counterintuitive to pick white for this sporty little hatchback, but it works well against the black exterior trim and is rather stylish when paired with a black roof and mirror caps. Throw in some black bonnet stripes for a racier look.
Special Metallic - Rooftop grey
This is not your common grey colour. Rooftop grey has a subtle bronze tint to it that makes the MINI look rather elegant. It looks great with the standard black exterior detailing and should do well on the used car market as grey shades are some of the most popular car colours in the UK.
Special solid - Zesty yellow
If you hate constantly losing your car in a parking lot then Zesty yellow is the colour for you. It might seem totally out of place on a less funky design but suits the MINI perfectly. You can add a multitone or contrasting roof colour to it, but to our eyes it already looks great as is.
