Peugeot 108 TOP Convertible interior
The Peugeot 108 TOP’s cabin can be had with lots of eye-catching trims, but the numerous hard, brittle plastics mean it doesn’t feel particularly upmarket
Style
Besides a folding fabric roof, the Peugeot 108 TOP’s interior looks pretty much identical to the standard 108. You get an equally broad piece of plastic on the dashboard and a tall, minimalist centre console with a single, intuitive set of heating and ventilation controls. The large round speedometer in front of the steering wheel is easy to read and the 7.0-inch infotainment screen you get as standard is mounted nice and high, too.
The brittle black plastics on the Peugeot 108 TOP’s doors and dashboard feel much cheaper than in the likes of the VW Up, but you can pay extra for some colourful painted plastic trims instead.
Go for a top-spec Collection model and you get some plusher carpets, new protective plates on the door sills and a set of funkier striped seats that match your car’s paint job.

Infotainment
Unlike the likes of the VW Up, every Peugeot 108 TOP comes with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard. This is fitted high-up on the centre console so it’s easy to glance at when you’re driving. It’s relatively bright and responsive, too, but with the fabric roof folded away there’s quite a lot of glare that can make the screen hard to read.
With the roof up (or in cloudy weather) the screen’s menus are colourful and easy to navigate. You don’t get any physical shortcut buttons to help you jump from one feature to another easily, but at least there’s a conventional dial for the stereo volume instead of any frustrating on-screen controls.
Speaking of stereos, you get a DAB digital radio, Bluetooth connectivity and an Aux input so you can play music from your phone through the Peugeot 108 TOP’s speakers. You don’t get sat nav as standard in any Peugeot 108 TOP, but smartphone mirroring for Apple and Android phones is included across the range. This lets you use your favourite navigation and music-streaming apps directly through the 7.0-inch screen.
