1. Ferrari Purosangue S-A

The Ferrari Purosangue is the iconic Italian brand’s first SUV and claimed the top spot as the most expensive car sold on Carwow last month, fetching a staggering £351,000. It has an incredible engine and is more playful than many other sporty SUVs, which helps explain why it commanded such a high price.
The Purosangue is instantly recognisable – those prancing horse badges say it all. Its sleek, coupe-like SUV shape sets it apart from boxier alternatives, and every detail feels purposeful. It’s a proper SUV too, with four-wheel drive, adjustable suspension, a raised ride height, and five practical doors.
Inside, both driver and passenger get their own screens (though the software isn’t quite as polished as the rest of the car), and all four seats are comfy, supportive, and ideal for spirited driving. There’s decent space for adults in the back and a usable boot.
But the real star is the drive. That 6.5-litre V12 makes most sporty SUVs feel tame, delivering blistering performance, razor-sharp responses, and an engine note that’s pure, unfiltered Ferrari. The Purosangue doesn’t just drive like a Ferrari – it feels like one.
2. Lamborghini Urus

In August, Carwow helped someone snap up this SUV with a fantastic V8 engine for £195,000.
The Lamborghini Urus has a great street presence and sprints from 0-62mph in around 3.6 seconds. The S and track-focused Performante are even quicker, combining supercar agility with SUV practicality.
Adjustable air suspension, six driving modes, active anti-roll bars, and four-wheel steering make the Urus feel surprisingly nimble for its 2.2-tonne weight. Inside, you get a lavish, VW Group-inspired cabin with triple screens, leather sports seats, and seating for four or five, making it Lamborghini’s most practical model yet.
It may not be the most spacious SUV around, but the Urus isn’t about cargo room – it’s about speed, style, and presence. For anyone willing to spend six figures, few SUVs are as fast, flashy, or in-your-face.
3. Lamborghini Huracan

From one Lamborghini to another, this supercar with eye-popping looks sold through Carwow last month for £185,500.
Indeed, the Lamborghini Huracan immediately catches the eye, whether in the understated Tecnica or Evo, or the wild STO or Sterrato. Its mid-mounted 5.2-litre V10 engine produces 610-640hp, sending the car from 0-62mph in just 3.5 seconds, with most models topping 200mph.
Inside, the Huracan is driver-focused: supportive sports seats, a clear cockpit, and a smooth automatic gearbox make it manageable at lower speeds, while features such as a nose lift help navigate everyday obstacles.
On the road, it’s a thrill. The steering is precise and communicative, the brakes feel more than capable, and the raw V10 power makes cornering exhilarating. Even with a decade-old design, the Huracan remains a benchmark for performance and style.
4. Bentley Continental GT Convertible

This luxurious car is the fastest four-seat convertible in the world and has epic performance. So, there’s no surprise that one sold for £171,161 in August through Carwow.
The Bentley Continental GT Convertible is a four-seat luxury drop-top that is sure to turn heads. Its sleek, coupe-like shape, huge grille, and optional 22-inch wheels make it look as commanding as it drives, while the fabric roof folds in 19 seconds at up to 30mph.
Inside, it’s pure Bentley craftsmanship. Hand-stitched leather, wood or carbon-fibre trim, and knurled metal knobs feel special. The rotating infotainment display and digital driver’s screen are fun touches, though rear seats and boot space are tight.
Under the bonnet, a 550hp V8 or 635hp W12 powers it. The W12 delivers effortless performance, razor-sharp handling, and a thrilling roar. Intelligent four-wheel drive, active roll bars, and adaptive dampers make it both fun on twisty roads and comfortable for cruising. Minor quibbles are tyre noise and limited rear visibility, but otherwise, it’s a striking, high-performance luxury convertible.
5. Porsche 911

Rounding up our list for this month is one of the most iconic sports cars on the planet – and one sold on Carwow in August for £161,900. The Porsche 911 is a brilliant, everyday sports car that’s quick, fun, and surprisingly practical, and there’s a good reason why two sold for the prices they did.
The engine sits behind you, and the hybrid system boosts power to 541hp and 670Nm of torque, giving the 911 extra muscle without hurting fuel economy. You can still get a non-hybrid Carrera, which also has a power bump and the same styling.
It’s practical enough for two who travel fairly light, with the front boot offering just enough space for a couple of weekend bags. But really, you buy a 911 because it’s a joy to drive: sharp steering, incredible grip, and loads of feedback make it one of the best sports cars around, whether you’re in the city or out on open roads.
