1. Alfa Romeo Giulietta – 15.85%

Taking the top spot is this stylish small family hatchback, with sellers earning an average of 15.85% more than their reserve price. Its distinctive looks and generous standard equipment make it an attractive choice. That said, it’s a bit uncomfortable, and rear legroom is limited. On the plus side, it’s enjoyable to drive enthusiastically on twisty roads.

2. Land Rover Freelander 2 – 11.57%

In second place is the Land Rover Freelander 2, with owners earning an average of 11.57% over its reserve price. This compact luxury SUV combines premium on-road refinement with genuine off-road capability. It has a spacious interior for five, a raised “command” driving position, and a versatile loadspace, all wrapped in its signature robust, boxy design.

3. Toyota RAV4 – 7.57%

Sellers of this Japanese family SUV also had a good February, with owners earning an average of 7.57% over its reserve price. The Toyota RAV4 offers a practical cabin with ample passenger space, is comfortable to drive, and has a respectable electric range of up to 46 miles on the latest hybrid models. On the downside, some cabin plastics feel scratchy, and its CVT can be awkward and noisy.

4. Range Rover – 6.02%

If you own a Range Rover and are thinking of selling, now could be a great time. On average, sellers of this luxury SUV earned 6.02% over its reserve price. This elegant car not only looks fantastic, but it’s also extremely manoeuvrable for its size thanks to four-wheel steering, and it’s superbly refined and comfortable. That said, it can feel unwieldy in town and on tighter roads, and getting into the cabin requires a big step.

5. Volvo XC90 – 4.71%

February was a solid month for Volvo XC90 owners too, with cars selling for 7.33% over their reserve price. This seven-seater SUV offers generous boot space even with all seats occupied, along with plenty of high-tech safety features. However, it doesn’t drive as well as some alternatives, and there are only two engine options. Rounding out our list, the XC90 proves that demand for larger, practical SUVs remains strong.
