Why should you buy a Tesla Model Y?
The Tesla Model Y is certainly worth considering, thanks to its spacious interior and impressive practicality.
Its boot is huge, offering up to 854 litres of storage space and making it one of the more practical options in the midsize SUV class. It also comes with plenty of standard equipment, although it misses out on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
This version of the Model Y is the Rear-Wheel drive and can charge from 20 to 80% in around 25 minutes under suitable conditions.
Despite its size, the Model Y is surprisingly easy to drive around town, thanks in part to its standard-fit parking cameras. However, it isn’t as comfortable as some alternatives, and road and wind noise are more noticeable on the motorway. Take it onto a twisty country road, though, and it impresses with its sharp brakes, precise steering and minimal body lean.
